Marcus Manderson

Based in Northern Virginia, Marcus Manderson (@dafingaz) is a dynamic composer and producer celebrated for his versatility across genres including hip hop, pop, R&B, ambient, afrobeats, funk/disco, cinematic, sync, and trailers. 

Recently, he composed the opening music for the Lil Jon x Pitbull World Tour, showcasing his ability to set the stage for global audiences.

Highlights of Marcus' Work:

• Crafted the captivating music for Disney theme park attractions, bringing magic to life.
• Composed the impactful score for the film "Hemisphere," streaming on Amazon Prime Video, Google Play, and Tubi.
• Secured impressive sync placements on networks such as Starz's BMF, MTV, BET, Bravo, Apple TV+, Paramount+, and Fox.
• Composed music for promos, trailers, and museum exhibits with prestigious partners like National Geographic and the Smithsonian.
• Produced tracks for independent artists, infusing diverse genres with his creative touch.
• Developed custom music for corporate clients and curated thousands of sample loops for digital audio workstations and his own platform.
• Organized and managed music production and songwriting camps for Fortune 500 companies

An alum of Full Sail University (2010) and the Los Angeles Academy for Artists and Music Producers (LAAMP) (2024), Marcus is also a proud voting member of The Recording Academy (Class of 2024), a member of Songwriters Of North America (SONA), and a member of the Production Music Association (PMA).
